[Error Code] Sharp ar-c160 is displaying f1-70

Hi there, I have a sharp AR-C 160 that my customer needs but the machine is displaying
H4-00 when I switch on the machine. When I press the Copy button on my left, the code changes to
    F1-70. Please help me.
    Thanks.

    2 totally unrelated codes.

H4-00 is Fuser Low Temp error. Check the fuser lamps & thermistats. Take the front cover of the fuser unit off, trick the main front door and watch for the lamps to rotate on/off each one.

F1-70 is a code I've never personally seen, but it is associated with finisher/sorter communication. Check & reseat/tighten the finisher cable to the engine. Run sim 14 to clear. Check all harnesses within the finisher/sorter. Or, to completely diagnose a fault within the finisher, disconnect it and startup as normal.

My guess? This is an auctioned machine. The finisher got separated from the copier along the way, and sim 26 must be reset. The H4 codes were extremely common when customers printed lots of cardstock ("lots" meaning "anything more than single sheets"). This machine will be costly to maintain at best. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Oh, I completely agree with running costs, but what a machine!!

I'm so glad we only have 2 left in the field! I used to run a fleet of the bastards!

The six that I had could have been a full time job, all by themselves. =^..^=
