It is a fuser code for high temperature. You can try to reset it by entering simulation mode. C, 0 ,0 C then enter the number 14 and hit the start button. Machine will reset but if code comes back there is something wrong with the fuser. I would take it out and look at the rollers to see what they look like and clean the unit. Or replace the machine. This one is pretty old.Comment

Thanks for the response,I did the C00C 14 and also pulled out the Fuser (looks like tonner catridge) wiped around as some powder ink came out and put it back to no avail.
I hope I was doing the right thing as I am not tech Savy. Hope I could still save the copier.Last edited by Guest; 07-09-2010, 09:20 PM.Comment

On the control panel of the copier: Clear, Zero, Zero, Clear
(C, 0, 0, C)
You're going to have a lot of difficulty getting replacement parts for this beast. If it's not in pristine condition, I wouldn't waste my time on it.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I have tried C014 stilol no change
I suppose Interrupt is not a particular character.
Thanks for all your above contributions.
If I finally cannot get it fixed then I will have no choice than to junk it.
ThanksComment

re
Hi
you must perform C , INTERRUPT, ZERO, INTERRUPT, 14, START,(THAT MEANS COPY)
if the code not fix the issue, chek:
-fuser lamp
-if the termostat is open?
-clean the termistor and chek if is good.
but y thynk that was, or the fuser lamp burn, replace, or the termostat open, close it,
good look

Thank you all, this time it worked and the H3 code disappeared. However it is not picking up paper from the bottom tray and displays the Misfeed signal 8^v indicating the right side. I have performed the instructions for misfeed removal on pages 22 & 23 of the Manual but still cannot get it to pick up the paper; any input will be appreciated.
PS
the only good news is that the By-pass works OK
Thank you all again.Comment

I generally clean the half moon rollers that pickup the paper and also clean the clutch (take apart and re-grease) that drives the rollers. Actually I think I have the wrong machine again. I still clean the clutch but I don't think this has the half moon rollers (sorry been a long time since I worked on one).
Good luck.

This time it worked, Thanks every contributor, the H 3 code disappeared but the 8^v MISFEED error comes up as the copier will not pick up from the bottom tray. The By-pass works though. I will appreciate any inputs.

re
hi
first do wath Bilyahn said, and pay atention at the tray posicion, because sometimes the tray broken on the right side, and not stay in a correct position.
try do o little pressure on the tray and push start copy.
and try to put the paper in A4 and change to A4R, and look wath hapenned,
do not forguet that when change the paper posicion in the tray, you must set to in the control panel, if not you have a missfeed to.
good lookComment
