    Please Help error code H5-01

I'm working on a Sharp AR 450 . Jams as it comes out of fuser. Are the exit rollers supposed to be on at startup?

What's your jam codes for this problems and how many copies on your machine. If it is crinkling after the fuser then look at replacing the turnover assembly. Very common jam issues with this machine.

      Good luck.

It doesn't wrinkle it just stops. When I start the machine I can see the exit rollers do not come on. Do they come come on with the main motor or does a sensor tell them to come on?

The exit rollers that I think you are talking about don't come on right away, it has it's own motor to drive it. Don't normally have a problem with these but the black follower rollers that can be removed pretty easily can get sticky. The same thing happens to the follower rollers just above the fuser but they normally make a squeaking noise when this happens. Do you know the jam code? Are you doing 2 sided, 1 sided, does it happen out of all of the trays?

The H5-01 code is usually triggered by POD-1N jams. Typical causes include the fuser rollers, bearings, claws, printing of large numbers of heavy fill prints, or incorrect setting of the lead edge void (3 mm minimum) causing fuser roller wraps. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Try to clean the one-way gear at the end of the exit rollers. If it not helps you have to change the whole exit unit.

If you go into Sim 6 you can activate the main motor (MM) and that will spin your fuser and the first set of rollers after the fuser. The side door can be tripped in the back top corner so you can watch.

From tray 1 you can hold a gate shut and the machine usually will feed paper past the fuser.

This error code implies that the machine have a frequent jam on the fusing section. The trouble maybe mechanical or the fusing itself, try to check first the sensors if it is activating proper, try simulation 30.
