    [CQ] SHarp MX2700

We received in a used MX 2700 in.

This is new to me. I have the service manual. The unit was printing light in all colours when doing test patterns. When printing Black it is dense, only in full colour prints it is light. Copied light also.

I changed Dev units, Drum units transfer belt and did all the prescribed setups as per the manual. Still have the same problems. It also won't read the chart from the colour balance auto adjust.

Look we are not a Sharp dealer but a small Ricoh service group. Yes Ricoh trained.

Any Ideas where I should go to get this correct?

    All input would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Larhal

Too many things to mention. What simulations did you use and or reset so far?

On this model, check the LSU shutters are opening all the way.
It probably is failing when scanning the charts because the image is too light.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

        Hi all,

1- LSU shutter is OK, checked that.

        Simulations used are as follow
        55-22
        46-24
        26-53
        67-24
        24-4
        24-7

Kind of lost here do not know Sharp's.

I don't see 25-2. Follow the above bulletin.

I don't see the developer stir in there: simulation 25-02. This is an important one.
              Then re-do the calibration. =^..^=
