Re: MX-2700n bell shaped impression on copies and prints
I check the primary and the secondary transfer belt it had that impression on it but it would go away when it cleans itself. This impression only comes like every five copies. The other copies are nice and clean could it just be the drum needs to be replaced or something else?Comment

Re: MX-2700n bell shaped impression on copies and prints
When you say you checked the primary belt, did you actually pull it all the way out of the machine? Or just ran blank copies through? I'm fairly certain your issue will be found in the primary belt. A crack in it or the thin sides of a label stuck to it...Comment

Re: MX-2700n bell shaped impression on copies and prints
The only thing long enough to make a repetitive image that long is the primary transfer belt. My guess is that the belt has delaminated (layers separating) and it's no longer flat, and no longer cleaning properly. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I replace the whole transfer belt, but a new cleaning will probably solve the problem.Comment
