    Toshiba e-Studio 2050c F106_0

    Can someone help me? I have this error. I replaced the hdd but it still doesn't work.

    So you installed a HDD. Did you format it, etc, etc, etc?
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      yes I formatted it but I also tried to format the root partition and I get authentication err..... and when I want to install the system software I get error F106_0

        F106_0 is "ADI-HDD error: Illegal disk replacement detected (ADI-HDD Exchange to SATA-HDD)"

        Meaning you are trying to use a regular SATA HDD instead of the special Toshiba encrypted ADI-HDD which the machine won't allow.
        No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

          Your drive must be labelled: "Wipe Drive", or it is not.

              He means the drive itself must say "Wipe Technology HDD" like in the yellow area of this image, no other drive will work.

                don't write on it wipe technology hdd, it just appears advanced format AF but it still doesn't work
