    EZ-RZ press roller

I ama having touble with an EZ- 220 intermitantly jaming and the press roller is staying up to the drum holding the drum in the machine. I have cleaned the solenoid and changed the spring that holds the lock for the pressure release. Any ideas?

    Hi,
Had this problem many times on the RP series but never RZ/EZ.

On the RP series, the Pressure Lever A Assy weld marks failed on the mounting point to Pressure shaft.
This prevented the pressure lever engaging with pressure solenoid.

          pressure solenoid lever maybe?

there is a new type pressure solenoid lever to help prevent this, see here for the bulletin https://us.riso.com/pls/portal/docs/...20ON%20EZ2.PDF also the rear center frame may be bent allowing more room for the lever to slip off the hook - had this prob two weeks ago and the frame solved it - had this prob when we first started selling this model and the new lever solved it. anyways something else to look for - good luck

Thanks, I changed the lever & upgraded the firmware 2 week ago , it seems to have taken care of it.
