C224e Color printing problem

Hello to everyone,

The last few days I have a problem with my printer.
When I print in color, there are some vertical lines which I suppose
are from the old drums but also there is a thing like shadow (mostly red color)

Do you think it is from the drum too (I have already ordered one)
Or is there something else I can do (e.g. A calibration or something like that)

Possible the cleaning blades don't clear corectly, are dirty or worn-out.

Here you go! You can see the magenta like shadow in the EZ letters
and also in the next picture in the hand and the brown triangle.

Simple color registration. Have you done a stabilization and gradation? =^..^=

I did color registration and gradation before....
I have +6 max registration but the red still leaves a shadow

check your internal test patterns, make sure its not just a shit image file.

I don't think we're talking about the same thing. Enter service mode > Process Adjustment > Stabilization & Gradation...

Yes I have already done that.

And also after that I have played with color registration patterns.

It did it for cyan and yellow but the red color is not fixed.

Most likely the drum unit is causing the magenta background & lines. Could also be the developer unit but usually the drum. Especially since you posted the drums were old.

Thanks for the advice my friend. I am waiting the new drums on Tuesday so i will change them and inform everyone here how it goes.

Hi,
Just interchange the magenta drum with cyan drum if the lines change into cyan lines check cleaning issue of drum unit.
