C454e print problem

Hello everyone.

Does anyone have a print problem like on test page? What can make those lines. The problem becomes before fuser unit.

I've replaced:

All drums
ITB
Fusing unit
ITB motor
Fusing motor
All register tray with clutch
Laser unit
Transfer roller


It happens at a3 format paper, a4 aint do this problem :/ no matter which tray


Increasing fusing speed on techmode made IT better only for a few prints or it was just a luck:/

The lines starts everytime exactly from the same point and is allways at the same width.

have you replaced the developing unit? the gradient looks like crap nevermind the lines.

I don't know since you said you replaced practically everything, but first thing coming up in my mind seeing this: Crud under the transfer belt cleaning blade.....

DV's were swapped before print so they re crappy

I don't know since you said you replaced practically everything, but first thing coming up in my mind seeing this: Crud under the transfer belt cleaning blade.....

ITB was changed and it didnt resolved the problem

For the hell of it, remove the black plastic guide piece that is mounted to the top of the ITB. It really looks like the fins from that are scraping the paper before the toner gets fused. If that takes care of the marks, at least you have an idea of where you need to concentrate.

Try running a solid black and open the side door before it goes all the way through the fuser . Then check paper to see if its happening before fuser , at this point after carefully pulling out jam you could pull the transfer belt and see if the lines are on the belt

Try the fuser speed adjustment. Wonder if it creates enough loop between the transfer and the fuser?

It is a plastic guide that sits on the front of the transfer belt.

In SM there is a mention of high voltage unit, try replacing it

Was the belt replaced with a different plastic guide? Just remove it completely for testing purposes.

That was the first thing i have done. Jammed a3 paper between fuser and register roller. The scratch is before entering the fuser. The print can be removed by finger.

Tkanks for reply and idea. Increased speed and set it at20 -max for thin paper. Printed well a few a3 papers and started scrating again:/

There's a loop in paper while entering fuser and exiting register roller.

This sh$+#t happens only at a3 paper, a4 is allways ok.
