Hi all, not sure if anyone can help, I have a 4052ci which constantly throws a system error 441 every day when sitting idle , user has to power it off and on and copier working again. Also noticed it throws a few calibration errors 7611 7614 7620, I have tried so far the main pcb, hard drive , 021 024 resets, problem still persist , copier has a 1000 sheet finisher with hole punch unit

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
Can you see any patches on the transfer belt when it errors out (after attempting calibration)? There are lots of possibilities (in this order):
Some of the color patches are missing (specifically check black & yellow based on the codes C7611, C7614, C7620): maybe drum, maybe dev, maybe HVT, maybe laser
Transfer belt issue: not rotating, torn belt, displaced primary transfer roller
ID sensor issue: shutter doesn't open, pile of toner on the ID sensor, defective ID sensor
I can narrow it down a little if I know which patches are present, and which are not. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
Unfortunately we are never there when the problem occurs, customer just cycles copier and away they go again, strange thing is that this copier was working without a problem, it was decommissioned from previous customer and returned back to us , after sitting for about 6 months we sold it to another customer and this is when the 441 errors starting appearing, maybe when the copier was transported to new site it was bumped around. I have included a screen shot of the errors, its more so the 441 error thats concerning me, according to service manual F3AX F3BX F3CX F3DX F3EX F3FX F40X F41X F42X F43X F44X F45X

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
AH! You mean CF441.
This is the description from a Wisecore Bulletin:
Component: CreateScan. Category: ImageProcess. Initialize Error. (the rest reads the same as your entry).
This description implies to me that the image was not properly processed during image processing. If you were only getting the CF441 I might suspect the CCD. But the additional codes are pointing to the color calibration happening at the engine board. And the scanned image (for a copy) is also directly processed on the engine board.
I think the engine PWB makes more sense to me. You may have to do U411 CCD calibrations when changing the engine PWB ... I think I would. Have the test charts available. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
When you moved the machine did you remove all toners and developing units? We always make sure to do this with all of our copiers, we would have issues with our Sharp copiers after moves and found excess toner dropping in the developing units after the move and it would cause error codes ad CQ issues sometimes. I know one time we had a TA-5501i after a move start to act up, we moved it with out removing the toner and developing unit and cq issues until we replaced the developing unit. We took the developing unit back to the shop, vacuumed it out, installed it in to another copier and it worked great.Comment

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
regarding C76xx codes, check the U465/ Stress values.
Front and rear value must be >90.
If always 90 for front or rear, the surface from the belt is damaged/ overaged and new belt needed.
@BC
if the shutter for the ID sensors will not work, you get C7601 for the front sensor and/ or C7602 for the rear sensor.Comment

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
Ihave been seeing the f441 error on multiple machines 3511, 9002, 4052, 4002. I am curious did you have this machine on KFS. I am wondering if the machine is not waking up properly for communications with KFS. I know for a fact that the 9002 machine I have doing it the customer will not be using it and it will go to this error. we have tride replacing hard drive. 21, 24. Next step I think is going to be Main board or I am thinking of removing it from KFS and see if the errors stopComment

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
Had this error code today on a 6003. Customers power went on and off numerous times quickly before it finally kicked out for 6 hours.
It was strange, machine was offline (maybe power was still out but they placed the call) when we checked KFS and the next day it was online again but they couldn't print. Copy was fine. Had the user hard reset the machine, unplug, hit soft power switch 3 times and plug back in and away it went.Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.Comment

Re: TASKalfa 4052ci error 441
is it plugged into a good surge protector designed for copiers? or is it on a cheap $5 surge protector? is there other stuff on that same breaker that could be overloading it... i would lean towards the power as well. especially since you moved from one location to another and now it works.Comment

Bumping this,
I have a older 3511i that the client changed to Starlink internet and this code now comes up every morning. The F441. This machine was working fine on the previous internet. I think its just a coincidence. Strange. Just wanted to add this info out there. I am waiting to go onsite to check it out by my KFS has the logs.Comment

I've posted on this previously. Disabling IPv6 on the MFP will take care of it.🥰 1Comment
