So apparently the NSBA wanted the President to violate Federal Law, to whit the Posse Comitatus Act pf 1878, revised in 1956,1981 and 2021. Under Posse Comitatus Federal troops cannot be deployed top assist local entities until all local and state resources have been exhausted.

State School Board Associations if they really want to use jack booted gestapo tactics against parents at board meetings need to be talking with their respective Governors who do have the authority to deploy their own National Guard Units at the state's expense. The National Guard Units within a state are part of the states resources.
