As far as buying and selling assault rifles through the mail, Having lived in the country most of my life, I did not know that was a problem. People I know have been doing that for decades.

Part of the reason there are 14,000 murders and 19,000 suicides per year in the USA via firearms is the easy access to guns. Due to the failure of the enhanced back ground check bill to pass in the US Senate, the only thing that keeps criminals and lunatics from getting more weapons is the credit limit on their credit cards and a shipping address.

Most of the murders are from handguns . Rifles were used in 358 murders in the year 2010. So called assult rifles are not the problem. There are close to 20,000 laws on the books reguarding firearms. Do you really think a few more are going to have any effect on the murder rate?

Note to SalesServiceGuy: I haven't figured out yet whether you believe all the crap you spew, or if you are just trying to spark debate. If it is the latter, I say go for it. Many people like a spirited debate. I don't, which is why this is the only response you will see from me, but many do.

If you actually believe that this is such a terrible country and we have all these problems that you talk about that need addressing, I say, since you don't live here, you really should mind your own business and go away.

... so now any US citizen can order an assault rifle online, have it delivered to their door like a box of shoes from Amazon.com and do with it whatever they want for the good or harm to society. No need to know if the person knows how to handle a gun, is a criminal, a psychotic lunatic or a straw purchaser who's main motive is to resell to anyone for a profit. How is that a victory for America? Polls show that 90% of Americans were in favor of enhanced background checks.

Wow! What a video... and many people whine that proposed laws restricting large capacity ammo clips for civilian use impedes their rights under the 2A. The 2A was written in 1791, 222 years ago.

Certainly, if the muskets of the time were still being commonly used today there would be a lot fewer bullets sold and a lot fewer firearms fatalities and a lot less profits for the gun industry.
