I was out in the country clearing some brush from a fence line recently, and it turns out some brush tries to fight back.
While the brush put up a valiant and honorable resistance for a time, I left the area of conflict after being mostly mildly inconvenienced. Except for the one time a branch hit me in the eyes, that stung like the dickens for a few days!

Stupid popcorn storms. They've been around here for as long as I've been alive, but that doesn't make them any less annoying.

Are you going to elaborate, or make me Google "popcorn storms"?

Here in Australia we call those sudden weather heat storms " a sudden shower" or a "scud of rain" if you live out further in the desert country.

I like the "scud of rain" over "popcorn" every time. I just makes no sense. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Around here this time of year there are always a number of energetic weather systems passing through. Sometimes they are severe, but most of the time they are not. In the fullness of time energetic weather systems will always break up and fade away. But frequently this time of year as the main part breaks up smaller parts of it will resume being energetic for no apparent reason and without warning, and if I'm not paying extremely close attention I get drenched. I've gotten drenched three times in the past four days, and my rain gauge has indicated there has been over three inches of rain here during that time. On the other hand twenty miles north of here there was only a half inch of rain during those days.
As such, over time that effect is pretty random. Sort of like predicting which kernel of popcorn is going to pop next when fixing a bag or bowl of popcorn. Hence the name "popcorn storms".

You had to go twenty miles to find a difference. Around here when the forecasters say scattered showers, they mean it. I remember one Saturday, my yard was getting drenched. Across the street and three houses down, they hadn't gotten any rain yet. You could see the line of demarcation angling across the street. A few hours later, they were getting the rain and my back yard patio was already dry.

I remember when Green Jelly hit MTV....or Green Jello as it was back then before they were forced to change their name...and I still have the orginal CD somewhere that says Green Jello...with the original song on there...I don't remember the exact name of it but Metallica tried to sue them because they used their riff for a song...which was a satire song and even said in the song that they ripped off the riff lol....Green Jelly was like a Gwar Lite...
