I had to put a plug in a leaky tire today. I'm pretty sure that was because I had to use a "Plan B' (gravel road) route last Friday as I missed a turn on my way home. Just goes to show, while it is important to have an alternative route to anywhere, "Plan B" can stink.
It's not so bad as long as I consider that sort of thing an exercise in exploration though.

Tomorrow is Australia Day, it should be combined with National Sorry Day 'cos its the day we feel sorry for every one that isn't lucky enough to be Australian!

                Oooi .....

Correction... We have commiserations for those who are unable to "feel" an Australian.
We can't understand why; we have some darn nice looking Australians that don't mind us to "feel" for them too.

Keeping the new cat inside until we can get him fixed is becoming quite a challenge. He just escaped from the wife and made it 20 feet up a tree. Wasn't sure if I was going to get my face scratched or knocked off the ladder. I avoided both.

What is it with new cars in the last 1-2 years? I am constantly seeing drivers who either have no lights on, or just the daytime running lights, no tail or park lights long after the sun has set. Even more frustrating is none of them seem to realize that when some one is killing their lights either in front or behind you, it usually means your head lights aren't on. I even pulled up beside one driver and told him his rear light were off (11pm) and he said I was wrong, his light were "Auto" and drove off. I also notice that more and more drivers run with their high beams on, and don't seem to care who they are blinding and do not respond to the "universal" check your high beams signal. Many years ago I had a decked out Goldwing with a very bright high beam, 2 additional fog lights, and I kept a DC operated spotlight clipped to the wind jammer. Some times I would have to go from low beams, to high, turn on fog lamps, and finally pull the spotlight out and shine it directly in the windshield of the offending idiot before they would go back to low beams. I just don't understand how you can't tell if your freaking lights are on or not. Hmm I wonder how fast I'm going??? Can't seem to see my dashboard in all this darkness, wonder what the problem can be....Emujo

I watch lots of video's about the ISS and notice astronauts only wear socks.

Can you bang your toe in space?

Maybe, but you could injure something more valuable if you wear socks only.
