In 1938 Chester Carlson invented the photocopier, the first commercially available photocopier was the Xerox 914

Maybe who has set them up. I have one in a high usage location and have never had a problem. They are however replacing it and a MP C4501 with a MP C6502. Color demand has gotten to the point where the 4502 just wasn't cutting it. They are also replacing two MP C6501 and an 8070 with MP C6502s.

Good news Dayer, they have solved the toner spewing problem on its replacement the MP C6502. They must have re-designed the waste toner system as it now shovels the toner straight into the WTB and fills it up in under 20k. Stand by for all the whining from the customer about how much it costs to run.

wow i thought i was the only APECO tec here..
there was the superstat 180,185 etc..liquid machines wth the coated paper..
i remember the return clutches use to fail so the table top would have to be brought back to home position by customer..
as for pure crap box..i dealt with a ton of minolta EP 710 and EP 510 And use to come home like a coal miner..

I will agree on the Mita 935/945 Monroe also had them, but lets also include Canon iRC 5800/6800 with developer units inside a turret, nightmare to repair

Still have nightmares when 50% of my old copy base was made up of sharp AR-c260. Don't like the ricoh mpc6501 range as still to many of them on my patch and way to much time spent cleaning toner out of them.
