A few folks mentioned the Xerox 660.
While we never sold them, the founding partners of our dealership were very familiar with them because they were former Xeroids.
We took one in that was in pretty good shape on trade, and I remember installing it in a home "office" (it was a mobile home) on Christmas Eve of 1979.
It was about 4:30PM, so it was pretty much dark outside.
I remember when that puppy fired up on that all the lights in the mobile home went dim, the refrigerator stuttered, and the Christmas tree almost went out completely!
The following week, we moved the machine to a real office that the customer rented.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

I love the name/description Toshiba give its parts. For example, Item number 4401773010 is a K-ROL-SPT-CW-H. What the hell is that, It is obviously some sort of roller but why give it such a non-intuitive name.Comment

I have seen lights dim, breakers trip, and more power related problems with them, even better is when they are running the whole office trailer farm on generator power.Comment

Nowadays I shudder at the tought of having to service a Konica Minolta 250/350. Gray pieces of sh!t, I wonder how NEC, which used to make some awesome mobile phones and other stuff, came to manufacture such turds. Even a Konica 7115 is better than that crap!' ...The Worst Xerox Machine Ever...
In My experience, the xerox 2006 would have to be the worst thing they ever rebadged.
It was a Techtronics thing If I remeber rightly.
If you reloaded the firmware once you did it a thousand times.
It never seemed to perform well.
Being "The Face" of Xerox when on site I had to put up with sooo many complaints about it and try and explain to the customer that the machine was a lemon and still keep my job.
A very tricky thing to do.
That machine didn't give any Value to the customer at all.Comment
