depends on randomizing the read write areas, IE don't keep using the same memory addresses over and over. the m2 series ssd's incorporate randomizing technology.

Sadly EarthKmTech isn't active member anymore. I hope the best for him he was/is one of the best techs I ever heard of.

One of our techs had to do this about a month ago. He doesn't remember how to get to the point where you can do it any longer, but even if he did remember, it wouldn't help anyway. He stated that the procedure to actually execute the re-partitioning of the SSD is similar to that of recovering from a license error. The copier will provide you with a long code that you must then relay to tech support over the phone and they in turn will then provide you with a corresponding code to enter into the copier to actually execute the partitioning.
A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Ah OK thanks. Don't know why KM make if so difficult to recover some issues. if I'm working on a machine after hours & need to call them I have to return the following morning, painful.

Hi, I have the same problem ...
I replaced the STRB and now the machine loads the firmware successfully. But it still doesn't start. It stops at 25%
I cannot access the service mode. In a previous post I read about warm boot ... (how do you do it?)
              Thanks for the replies

In same cases you have to let the machine alone for a while like something is happening in the background that can take >30 minutes.
Did you used a new STRGB? IIRC in rare cases a faulty CPU board can cause this, too.

Ok, today I mounted a new CPU board and the machine is working fine.
I also tried to install the old STRB but it doesn't work
                  Thanks for the reply
