I believe on an I-series machine, SW 153 this changes the colour reproduction. Hex 40 changes it to IT5 colour, Hex 00 is the default IT6 colour. I think this was covered by someone else further back that had an example attached to it as well.

Switch 153, HEX 40 on the I-series has been invaluable.

Bizhub C650i that wont allow a keyboard to pop up when trying to enter a IP address? You can enter Admin. but once in you cant get to the keyboard, its non-existent. Could this be some type of security done through the soft switches? There is no extra programs added and the all clear has been done numerous times, FW reloaded and the machine wont find the network on its own. Any ideas?

Try DIP switch 200 set to HEX 20.

I know..old post..Does anyone have info on softswitch 217.. This supposedly corrects a false 100% toner issue when the bottle is empty..The KM kb article says set "DIPSSW" 217 to 0x02..I think this means set it to HEX02 but I am not 100%..

This is from Blackcat's book of tricks.

The 8 series onwards has an engine fw dipswitch to reset toner level to 100%. If it wasnt detected when replaced.

Any guesses what DipSW 189 Bit 1 does?
                  The "V2" FUM algorithm does?

A new software switch is implemented to change the behavior.:

DipSW No. 174 bit 1: Change the time of starting the next job.

0x00: Disable (default) - Prepare to start the next job when the last page of the previous job is fed.

0x02: Enable - Prepare to start the next job when printing information of the last page of the previous job is prepared.

Hey everyone, I have a government agency that requires that the PDF version that the Konica Minolta i series sends (via email) be at version 1.5 or higher, currently the machines I've tested are at 1.4, however I do happen to have one machine in the field (C550i) that apparently sends version 1.6. (machine is out of town, haven't looked at it directly yet) KM Support said SW43 set to HEX 20 should change the version that it sends, however on every i series machine that I've tested, it won't take HEX 20. KM confirmed that this switch should change the version but they also had issues changing it on their end on their i series copier. current firmware is g00-re. Has anyone else come across this and does anyone have any insight?

its not a setting issue, ironically
had this before, it thinks theres a keyboard installed, probs a card reader below the control panel / screen
