C4050i power save settings

I have pwr save set for 240 mins but screen goes black after 1 min. Looked through admin & service menus several times and didn't see it, unless I missed it? Is there a way to change display to stay on longer? Thanks in advance

I didn't see anything like that in menus? Ha-ha wish it was that easy and hope I just missed it. Maybe a soft sw can hide tab?

Once in admin mode there is a search option. If you search screen saver it will link you to it, if the machine has it

I would also turn off sleep mode. Konica Minoltas sometimes have trouble coming out of sleep mode. to do this first in service mode system 1 look for sleep on/off permit and set to allow. Then in admin mode on same screen as lower power you will see a check box to disable sleep mode

Sounds like the marketplace screen saver is kicking on. Try to disable it under Admin > System Setting > Reset Settings > System Auto Reset > Screen Saver toggle to OFF.

If you dont see the screen saver option there that means the machine's firmware is too new, G00-E9 or higher removed that on/off option.

I just disable that marketplace crap entirely... Admin > network > IWS > Marketplace > toggle OFF - that will also nuke the screen saver

And some settings I recommend doing on all i-series machines:

Admin > maintenance > Timer setting > power settings:
Low power mode = 60-120min
Sleep mode = OFF
Power Consumption in sleep mode = Disabled
Enter power save mode = Normal
Awake from PS/Control panel = On, +2

if you dont use market place id set soft switch 172 to hex 01 then via admin go disable it.

i have users who have a mix of papercut and sharepoint, screen goes black but not off after 1 min as a result of enabling marketplace to use sharepoint.

one user suggested installling the weather app so it atleast shows some useful info but unlike the old days u cant disable screen saver. i used to use api manager to remove it but im pretty sure it just reinstalls itself

U mnie ustawienie soft switch 172 na hex 01 bardzo pomogło.
Ale mam inny problem.
Po normalnym wyłączeniu ekranu maszyna uruchamia się ponownie. Oto przykład: ustawiam tryb oszczędzania energii na 5 minut i uruchamia się ponownie po 5 i 10 sekundach, czasami po 6 lub 10 minutach. Co się tu dzieje? Czy czegoś szuka? Jakiegoś ustawienia sieciowego lub faksu? Ma wyłączony faks .
