    Panel Freeze i-Series

    Hello everyone

We have had a problem with the panel on the new i-series for a few weeks now. It freezes.
On some machines we were able to fix it with the new firmware (G00-RB). Now I have a c450i on which I have already installed the new firmware (machine) and (panel) without success. Then a new panel was installed, and after two weeks it froze again. Now the CPU has also been replaced, without success.

Does anyone have the same problem or a solution?

    Many thanks and best regards

All you have left is the SSD drive to replace, a typical symptom in the "i" series

Did you repartition the storage board using 0548216 then do data recovery? See bulletin 13472 attached for t/s i series hangups.

We had the exact same issue. Try this SW159 HEX 08 setting it stops the SSD from sleeping & it resolved the issue for us.

This comment is pobably not your issue, but relevant for others. We had two i series panels with issues. One blinking out and one dark no power. Both were the new usb-c connector. Just reseated the connector & fixed.

There is also a panel firmware update that fixes freezing. Only applies to some serial numbers though.

did you update function level (sw25 to hex 04) when you updated to G00-RB and did you update the boot rom when you updated firmware? I believe the bulletin Don N. posted has instructions on how to do it

on the 8 series i had a lot of problems with the menu screen randomly not responding and sometimes if have to press utility button like 6 times before it would register

                new panel never fixed it

it was always resolve with a full system initialization

One minor correction maybe it's typo but Sw 25 should be 40 not 04.
