change copy speed from 227 to 367

Hello everyone. Could any of you show me how to change a 227 into a 367 or 224 into a 364? I knew someone who did it...

if you can show me how to change a dollar bill into a ten spot first.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Possibly by changing the MFP board and looking at the rest of the exploded view manual reference by reference locating possible changes in paper sockets, sensors or something else.
      Unfeasible and uneconomical work.

Not sure with this newer model but back when the old BizHub 200 (20 ppm) was being sold you could change eprom and a few other minor things and make machine a Biz 350 at (35 ppm)

In the vast majority of copier brands the speed is determined by the software, in my country I am dedicated to the repair of controller boards (Ricoh brand) so I know what I'm talking about

i always wondered when changing MFP on a C258 if at the recovery stage of loading firmware what would happen if you set the machine type to the relevant code for a C368 if it would be that simple

You would get an error because of the serial number being stored on the boards of machine.
I have been told that in the near future that KM machines are going to be coming without a speed license so when you get the machine you will go online and download the speed license for that machine.

We got one of the HPs that did this in off lease; interesting concept.
