Are you talking about the 5732 error, overheating CPU - that was in the FW before, GG1-RB

No he's talking about machine freezes and many 0x1FFF in detail code history eventually solved with new CPU board.

        G00-RD
        2.3. Fixed issues

        1. C5372 (CPU temperature failure) may occur during PC printing or low power/sleep mode.
As a countermeasure, the FAN will not turn off even in low power mode or sleep mode after applying this firmware (GG1-RB).
For the customer who prefers to stop CPU FAN, it is required to set the following software SW to disable the countermeasure.
??A function to turn ON/OFF the CPU FAN during low power and sleep mode.
        ???Software SW No. 189 (bit7)
???Hex: 00 (Enable [default]) FAN is turned ON in low power/sleep mode.
???Hex: 80 (Disable) FAN is turned OFF in low power/sleep mode.

          Yes elmaligno.
This mfp after over 1000 reboots can work in peace with the G00-RD firmware

Still nothing showing for this firmware version on the Konica US website.

Don't worry about that still when I had access to MKM they had loads of useful information compared to our latest and greatest KIKU...sigh ?

                Good evening,
I confirm that with the new firmware the problem of continuous resets on the C300i has been resolved!

We just got G00-RE here in US, no GOO-RD.
Fixes the C5372 code if you set software sw 159 to hex 80.

                        Thanks, Sar.

It's time to try to stop the CPU BBQ.

KM Support keeps telling me to use GC4-RB to correct the issue instead of replacing the CPU. Item 14 on the readme shows "14. A machine reboots with detail code 0x1FFF/0x2201900000000100" I do know that I've replaced A lot of CPU's lately which definitely fixes the issues. Hopefully special firmware this fixes the issue as well. We are updating (especially on machines out of warranty) and are monitoring them for any further issues (client reported or in the list prints). As this is special firmware, my question is whether we should ever or never update the firmware on the machines that are affected by this cpu issue? Would updating the firmware in future basically replace the special firmware and then we have problems again?
