Has anyone else been receiving a high number of machines damaged in the box but the box looks fine? We've had a lot sent to us this last year that once we unbox them we're finding bent frames, obvious forklift dents and broken optics. Of course if the box looks damaged when we receive it we won't sign off on it until we open and inspect, but these machines the shipping boxes don't appear damaged at all. It's like the machine is damaged before it gets packaged and they know it's damaged but don't give a rats ass.

i called them a bonus .Parts paid for by the sales department. wire for scrap metal also. not to mention a free government type copiers for home use.Comment

We have noticed that a lot of A4 machines(c3320i, c3350i, etc.) come in with damaged panels and feeders. For a period of time around when there were a shortage of crane workers, there was a dramatic increase, but it's still been a problem. Can't speak too much on the larger A3 consoles.Comment

lol we just unboxed a brand new C3321i, box was immaculate.
the machine is fubar'd - from what I can tell it has two non-OEM image units installed. Iron filings, toner everywhere. Lasers completely covered.
It even had all the oem tape and those little pull tab covers on the image units like you would expect it to.
KM having some serious issues - the amount of electronics failing in their stuff out of box, or like 2 weeks after install is insane. I feel like we have a 50% fail rate on CPU boards at this point.Comment

Why do you think so? Because of different drum colors - mixed green and olive-green? That's perfectly normal.
And about "Iron filings, toner everywhere. Lasers completely covered." - some time ago, among the ten ordered C3320i, there were three with the same problem - they were returned as DoA.
Most probably something went wrong on production line - during the initial setup.Comment
