"original has been left on the glass"

Hello everyone. A recurring problem. C308, the machine indicates “an original has been left on the glass”, and also any original you put on the glass it reads it as A3.
I have cleaned all the mirrors and the glass top and bottom, changed the size sensor next to the CCD, the ADF close detection sensor behind the operator panel, changed the main and side scan register setting, but it doesn't work.
Other times I have had some of these components fail but not this time.
I still have the CCD and the scanner with the lamp.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you.

Thought there was an adjustment for that?

I have always cleaned the underside of the glass and the mirrors for that, real good and it goes away after that. I see that you have done that.

I will redo ADF setup next check scan area settings and maybe compare with another similar machine.

I've had marks on the DF white board cause this issue, make sure this is spotless.

98% of the time it's the height adjustment. Reset of time just the glass

Haven't had this problem on 8 series but on i-series I have ran non-image area erase adjustment to resolve this problem

I agree with Woxner. I usually fix this by lowering the right side of DF if cleaning the glass doesn't fix it. That way it activates the angle sensor sooner and doesn't see the platen cover as paper.
