BH-C-284e, SMB scanning, here we go again....

Guys, is there a special firmware necessary for the BH-C-284e to be able to do SMB scan with the BH-C-284e?
I have "A5C10Y0-F000-G20-M1" and SMB scanning is not working here. Any DIP-Switches to be set?

Yes. Update the firmware and make sure you are on function version 7 (dip switch 25 to hex 60).

Do you get anything in a web browser? Is it just an error about unable to connect or a white screen?

We have had 107 errors quite a few times and the downgrading, adjusting SSW, then upgrading has resolved the issue several times.

Its giving an 503 error with the information that the website is “not secure”
It is doing it with all browsers. 😠

Machine is otherwise working normal except scanning of course since I cannot enter the scan target.

BTW, It was working before FW update. Did not make any adjustments to the system.

Utility -> Admin -> Network settings -> HTTP Server Settings. There is a on/off at the top and a setting for PSWC on the main screen with an On/Off. They both need to be on.

If they are already on, toggle the HTTP server off and then back on. Then reboot the copier with the gray switch.
