BizHub C364e big horizontal smudges at fixed position - every page bottom

We have a BizHub C364e and it's printing out a big chunk of horizontal lines / smudge at every page, always at fixed location - the very bottom of paper. All drums have been replaced and toners all looked fine. What could be the problem? Thanks for any input.

worn trans belt or that the cleaning blade on it failed.
has a tech seen it yet? a tech would stop the process at different timings and inspect the latent image for where exactly the issue happens.
then he/she would replace the worn transfer belt maybe get lucky and just remove a stuck paper/label fragment from the cleaning area.
    thats my guess.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

If print defect is only black than only thing that would cause that is the drum. If drums are new as you say you still have a bad/defective black drum unit. Were the drums genuine or aftermarket? Either way exchange black drum with a new one.

Is it long edge or short edge feed?

I just had this same problem last week, but it was caused by generic, defective toner. Had to replace all 4 drums and the Xfer belt and roller.

Thanks for all replies!! Yes drums are genuine and the stripe is actually not always black, sometimes it shows mixed colors. Paper is just regular letter size and long edge feed. After checking transfer belt, with a good cleaning and completely wiping its cleaning blade, the problem seems to be solved. Turns out the belt is holding lots of waste toners and some dust / hair ...

Glad you got it fixed. Good rule of troubleshooting is if defect is only one color it's the drum, if multi color it's the belt. You failed to mention this in OP.

It looks like it might need a new cyan DV unit as well. You can see the trademark zebra pattern on the images.

There is definitely other issues at hand beyond the transfer belt cleaning unit. I agree, it look like there could be a bad cyan dev unit.
