They brought out a mod for the fusers, the cleaning roller would seize, you had to install proper bearings in place of the bushings. - however, any recent fuser should already had the mod

Hi again everyone,
I have a customer with a C658 displaying a C-3102 error with an associated gear/slippage sound coming from what sounds like the fuser drive assembly. I ran a load check on code-45, multi code-8, Soaking Roller Pressure Solenoid and was able to duplicate the sound.

I remember reading something about an updated fuser drive assembly, but can't find the tech bulletin.

Can you check my math on this before I order a $350 part?

I need to replace the fuser drive assembly, part # A79JR71633, correct?
