Konica Minolta Bizhub 554e printing and copying blank

    Hello...
I have a Bizhub 554e that prints and copy blank pages. Even internal print outs still come out blank. I changed dev unit, drum unit and I.T. belt unfortunately same problem persist. Checked toner hopper all looks good. The machine initialize normal, no error codes.
    Any ideas and suggestions please.

Run a halftone page and force a jam (by opening the right side door) just as paper passes through the registration rollers. Pull out the drum and check to see if there is any toner / image on the drum and transfer belt. That will hopefully narrow things down a bit.

Did this happen all of a sudden or gradually get lighter? What is page count?

If completely blank then I would look at loss of high voltage. Any motors not turning developer unit, trans belt, etc would throw a code. Unless it's a higher meter machine and possible developer gears are bad and not turning mag roller (like tsb posted)

If you access techrep mode , do you see an oil can icon? Your printhead may have failed and it will not trigger an actual error code . It may not register a registration patch on transfer belt

It seems there is no toner image on both transfer belt and drum unit. Although i did check the transfer belt, the drum unit and the dev unit are all turning.

You have narrowed down the problem a little. It could be the printhead unit or the MFPB. Can you print an internal test pattern?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

hi guys, thanks for your input i managed to solve the problem. The solenoid on the main drive assembly was stuck and this is the reason why the dev unit was not turning.

Running the machine with the dev unit externaly connected the drive gear turns.

Hi I don't know if you solved it but if you have blank pages both color and black and white.
It happened to me and I had to replace the HV Board.
                        Behind the board assy.
