C751i Papercut wont authenticate

Just received this from KM, finally a fix so i am trying on a few customers today, as follows:

That’s the Firmware release note as below is available on Kiku please give this a try and let us Know how it goes

Special Firmware GG2-RF has been released as the interim fix for Papercut issues.
Please apply this to any papercut devices and feedback on results.
There is one footnote to mention: Please follow the steps below to clear the server cache data and check if the issue persists"

Firmware GG2-RF? I don't see that on U.S. KM do you mean GC2-RF?

Looks like GG2-RF is on the one-stop now for US market.

I thought mine was fixed with GC2-RF. Their IT called today and said that they were still having PaperCut problems. I'm going tomorrow to load GG2-RF, I was just wondering if your machines are still working correctly?

Hi Yes all good now, just ensure you also do the cache clear

I didn't do the cache clear wasn't sure if that would cause problems. Did you clear the cache before or after loading the firmware?

FWIW I did the server data cache clear before loading fw and after loading fw. I haven't heard back from the account going on 5 weeks now. They are using Papercut Hive and were getting the white/blank screen issue on two different 0i-series.

Thanks, my customer wasn't getting white/blank screen. They were getting authentication errors, hopefully this will resolve their issues .

I have two C751i's at same account that initially would give a white screen when managed by paper cut. Konica came out with a special firmware GG2-RE that resolved this issue. This was a few months ago. They called back in saying that the machines will fail to authenticate occasionally. when it fails the only way to get it back working is to remove from papercut and re-add it . They said it will work from a few days to a few weeks . My contact for papercut support is saying that papercut has told them that this is a know issue and that papercut is working with Konica Minolta to come up with a fix. He also said that there is a ticket open in Australia that Konica Minolta has sent them a beta firmware for this problem.

Just wondering if anyone has heard of this problem before?

Note to add it does successfully connect to the papercut server , they don't use cards to authenticate, they press the guest login, then select either device function or scan, after that they select the account that they are going to charge the copy/scan to. Its at this point it fails to authenticate .
I tried loading the latest firmware available to me GG3-RE with no luck.

Papercut Mf should be shown on the printer control panel while papercut hive is connected to cloud

On this machine the customer hits the guest button on the machine panel, a list of their clients populate then they choose which account that they want to bill for copies. After that the machine authenticates.
