Have you ever seen this? I can make copies thru the DF and it comes fine, I put it on the glass and it comes with a little smudge and what looks like out of focus.
Cleaned all the glass, the rails, checks rhe little platic sliders on the mirrors, etc
It is the 3rd machine I see with this, with less than 70k. Printing from memory it comes ok, like the test page or config page

1st photo is from glass, second is from DF and from copier memory

Is he DF height set correctly? To me, it looks like the matt is not pressing the original down to the glass evenly.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Ditto I would redo all settings of DF. They should be moving machine leaning on DF.
I don't like anyone pushing my machine when it is moving on desk wheels.

That is definitely a scanner issue, there is some hesitation or slipping when scanning starts. Watch scan assembly with lid up while copying. If it was from original not laying on glass all the way there would be a light image not a repeat image.
What happens if you put a few sheets of 11x17 paper over originl then make a copy?
Maybe the scanner bed was leaned on and pushed down, lift up on front left corner to raise slightly.

Check the mirrors (mirror 3) I have seen that one be in the wrong position and a small adjustment (1/4 turn ) has fixed the issue. I saw this twice the 8 series color machine

Agree about the mirror being out of place this would give you an out of focus image like you have. You posted that you checked them so I shared some other thoughts that came to mind. Let us know what the fix was.

I've also seen this from a lens unit. Don't touch the Bird Poop screws, but loosen the leaf springs and shift it within the play that is there. When you get it right tighten.
