C300İ sound problem

Hi bro

There is a noise coming from the front of the Konica C300i model even though the machine has been newly installed. The machine only works for 60 thousand and I have this problem with most 300i models. I think the sound is coming from the waste toner box. Has anyone experienced this?

Have run into this a lot. I took it apart, 12 screws to get to it. Careful not to tip it when you get it apart, the covers fall out, two sizes. After that pretty straight forward.

i used to just cut 2 or 3 loops off the shutter spring on the box and it usually fixed the issue with toner backup.

12 screws? - I only remove 3 , then you just remove the part that covers the 3 gears biggrin.png

Nah we used to do that until it just didn't worked on one machine. We carry the part with 3 gear shafts lubed and prepared just to be fit at site.

i had this issue with some c300i and c360i i just hit the side of the gears with hand and it stopped squiking.

well that was a few months back and i never got the issue again.
