Problem with prints after firmware G00-S7 update c360i

After updating the AA2J0Y0-F232-G00-S7(00) firmware, Windows 10 crashes when I try to print.
The updated driver doesn't change anything.
If I try to reinstall an older firmware, it tells me to RESET THE HARD DRIVE LOCK PASSWORD, but I can't do it?

How do I resolve this situation?

    thanks

Did you change SW25 to HEX 40( function version 2.3)?
    What driver you have installed?

To late now but I've heard through the grapevine that once you put on S7 you cant roll it back to an earlier version . To reset the hard drive password you will need to format the hard drive. Hopefully you can just do that in admin mode. If that doesn't work you will have to login to service mode and do a physical format. If you get it back alive try using the latest universal print driver.

You can roll back the FW from S7 - there's a document explaining how to do it , if doing it via USB, you have to go into enhanced security mode, and then carry out password decryption

I wouldn't update any device to the new S7 version. It's really poorly tested. E301 code comes 100%

I'm getting loads of E301 and E101 codes, after upgrading devices to GC2-RF - but they have to be done for OAuth

I haven't been able to get any Oauth2 to play. I had to replace the hard drive on one after the update...

Done with that instruction. Doesn't work and the devices freeze and e301 code etc.

This sounds like a Windows/Driver issue and nothing to do with the FW.

Did you install the driver fresh or did you just update the existing driver using the drop down in the advanced settings for the printer?

Is the spooler folder on the workstation broken?

                              Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool

In this folder there will be folder called PRINTERS

                              Can you open that folder?

If double clicking/r click -> open/enter does nothing - the system has lost permissions on the folder and you won't be able to install/update any drivers. You may also find that if you open control panel or print management you wont be able to access the printer properties.

You will have to repair the permissions using CMD takeown command and then run an ACL rebuild powershell script to fix it.
