Used to get that kind of cryptic message when Vcare stopped being able to reach the outside world, but this is a little different..I would search the manual and see if there are any codes that will flip the main power input to the machine..maybe a trouble reset and watching for fuser issues. E

I did, but found no answer yet in the Tech Manual from 2014/01/27. Perhaps the search function of my PDF-XChange is weak?
You need to get into service mode before it throws that message..Starting the trouble reset sequence should allow you to get to service mode and look at the error codes being generated. E

The 3-series machines like this do not. I believe that started in newer firmware versions in the 4e models.
A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Congratulations Hans. Thanks for posting back. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
