BH-363, main switch off and on

I have many of these machines but never encountered this message:
"Switch main switch off and on" (or WTTE)

    HDD, Memory, Boards?

does not appear to be an error.
what happens after you do what it says?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Remains the same, even when the mains plug was pulled longer than half a minute.

Will go there tomorrow with "frimwar", HDD, Memory, boards and some luck.......

Used to get that kind of cryptic message when Vcare stopped being able to reach the outside world, but this is a little different..I would search the manual and see if there are any codes that will flip the main power input to the machine..maybe a trouble reset and watching for fuser issues. I did, but found no answer yet in the Tech Manual from 2014/01/27. Perhaps the search function of my PDF-XChange is weak?

You need to get into service mode before it throws that message..Starting the trouble reset sequence should allow you to get to service mode and look at the error codes being generated. E

              Exactly what I would do.

Can't remember but do these have some kind of self diagnostic like newer models?

The 3-series machines like this do not. I believe that started in newer firmware versions in the 4e models.

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

Hans, found this seems you may have bad HDD:
Bizhub 363 turn main switch off and on

Thank you so much. That confirmed my first idea and is exactly what I need.
