It's done from the PC via the Command Center.

Go to Network Security>Network Security Settings. Enable TLS 1.2. Enable Sha 1 & Sha 2.

What if you can't access the command center at all? I had a machine today that I couldn't access the command center with any browser, it kept saying unsupported protocol.

Can it be done at the machine?

I don't think you can change these settings from the control panel. What browser have you tried? You may need to download IE or Firefox. One of of 'em should work. It did for me.

          Try IE in compability mode.

I tried Chrome, IE, Firefox and Opera. All gave the same message. I ended up setting up scans manually through the machine panel to get it working.

Re: Latest version of Chrome - Can't access Web Browser

Today was the first day I've experienced this. I can confirm that the latest version of Safari won't load either.
I'm researching a way to temporarily disable these settings in Edge and Chrome, if needed. IE still works though.
After reading some threads, IE, Firefox or Chromium are the only possibilities to access these web pages until you can upgrade the machine or enable the TLS protocols to allow a connection.
                    Hope that helps !

I'm wondering if Kyocera will do a firmware upgrade to fix this? It's quote annoying.

The fix is already present in the machine. You just need to enable TLS 1.2/1.3 on all of your Kyocera machines.

I've played around with it, but can't get it to connect in Chrome, Edge or Edge in IE mode. Even by allowing the IP address for an unsecure connection.
I would think there should be a place for intranet exceptions, but I can't find it.

Interesting, there has to be a way to make it connect to it. I wonder if Kyocera is going to do anything about it?

They won't write new firmware for models that don't support TLS 1.2
