I am refurbing M6535 machines and it looks like the drum has a mark on it either from the charge roller or drum blade (sitting there for a long period). I tried to polish off with a dry towel and that had little to no success. Drum refresh seems to have a little effect after running several times. Anyone have any ideas how to solve this without buying new drums. You can see several deletions on my example. I circled one...Thanks for any help

Re: Kyocera M6535 Deletion from drum cylinder (Pic attached)
You might try cleaning the drum surface with paraffin lamp oil, then rinse with alcohol.
But honestly if there is something stuck to the drum surface, it means that the clearcoat is worn through, and it will stick again ... usually very soon. We had this experience with the black drum getting teardrop shaped ... "striction" I think slim calls it. The clearcoat wears out. The drum cleans, but it comes back.
You might be surprised to hear this but these Mebius & MebiusII machines run best above 15K per month ... the more the better.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You can actually see the mark on the drum. The distance between the lines suggest the mark that is on the drum. The charge rollers arer new looking. I thought that was it at first myself. Thanks !!Comment

Get as little as possible on the drum blade. Either clean the drum outside the unit, or clean/rinse/rotate 1/8 turn ... repeat x8.
Paraffin lamp oil is a reasonable substitute for the best: Dispersant. I haven't seen Dispersant in many years.

Re: Kyocera M6535 Deletion from drum cylinder (Pic attached)
It was mentioned in this thread to swap the yellow drum but from my notes (from KYO) it says this:
Don`t touch the yellow drum marked with a yellow dot.
Don`t use it in other system on yellow position, if it would done in past you can get image quality problems because the yellow drum would used for internal system back up data.
We also have had a few cases with C9540 because all 4 drums would swapped mistakenly after cleaning.....
(yellow on BK position, magenta on cyan position and so on.)
If this kind of DK is broken, use new service DK unit with red mark.
I've never tried swapping it so I can't confirm but KYO has been pretty darn accurate.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

Re: Kyocera M6535 Deletion from drum cylinder (Pic attached)
not for Mebius only....
Take a look for the drums from other systems, e.g. IrisI, II, 2020 high series (>32/35ppm)
What do you think, why do you find yellow dots on mounted yellow drums from factory but no dots on CMK?Comment
