    Kyocera taskalfa 5002 fuser tempeture

    Dear friends,
    kyocera mita taskalfa 5002i have fusing problem after unknown person attended the machine. i have doubt about the fuser temperature setting has changed. i don't have the service manual right now, please help me to solve the problem.

    Check media type weight settings at first.
    I don't think that some one changed the fusing temp by 1087
    e.g.
    Plain must be set to "Normal 2"

        Another consideration is what media type is involved. All somebody has to do is load 290gsm media and leave it set to Plain, and you have a fusing problem. Definitely need more investigation here. =^..^=
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thank you all guys for your replys. the problum was solved by changing the paper type to "TYPE 2" - "ROUGH".

            What was the problem again? I do not recall reading what the problem was. =^..^=

              Kinda cryptic but someone must have put some heavy paper in a drawer expecting it to print just fine.

              If I only had a dollar for how many time that has happened to me.....
