Has anyone figured out a way to keep the DK-5195's from leaving marks on the rear frame side ? It almost seems as if the drum pulls away from the blade on rotation. I was curious if you could shim it and tighten it up. Kyocera doesn't seem to be fixing it.

Re: DK-5195 Marks
These aren't the waxy drum marks, but rear frame side marks from the blade not cleaning. We've seen a bunch of them, so I assumed everyone else has seen them also. I'll try to get a sample posted next time I see one.Comment

Re: DK-5195 Marks
After some thought I think I may know what the marks are you are referring to. The ones I'm thinking of look like some one scraped the drum with a comb and they are usually on part of the circumference of the cylinder. That I have seen. I have gone as far as disassembling the unit and cleaning everything. That did not last long, a few days. Ultimately I wound up replacing the drum unit.Comment

Yep those are the marks, they are always rear frame side. It's almost like the drum frame gets worn so the drum doesn't stay against the blade.Comment
