Send the command from a DOS prompt through the LPT or re-route the LPT port through to the network port.

    Reset Fuser
    ECHO !R! LFRE "FUSR", 0; EXIT; >LPT1

assuming it has the up to date firmware so in maintainance you can go in and reset the 2nd transfere roller count as well. if all units are replaced, ie k dev 4x pcu's, itb unit and fuser, them counts will be reset. 2nd transfere need to be done in service mode after firmware upgrade and service file loaded onto a cf card to unlock maintenance mode

Thanks for the replies, once i'd fitted the maitenance kit & checked the counts in the service mode which were all zero the mk message didn't go, but updating the firmware did remove the message.

Is there a way to reverse the ECHO !R! LFRE....... to get the printer to output data back to the PC ? Just curious to know if there is a set of escape codes I can program in to make things easier. I can knock up a small app to read the data file for saving analysing ect....
