you can try "white vinegar", it's cheap, it's good for everything, and it's as ecological as you want, only it smells a bit, I don't know if the customers would like it? I also use it when I wash the moka kettle for coffee, I leave some on the bottom for an hour and then I throw it, and I rinse everything with running water

white vinegar is great for cleaning windows .. shower stalls ..coffee pots. Been using it for decades for those purposes. I also use in to pickle cucumbers.

after a while I don't really notice the smell.

          try RainX on platen glass.

slippery? are you sure the static eliminators are working not damaged?
Big +1 on the Rainx. That is my go to these days and I still use it from time to time, but mainly as a anti-static measure in paper paths, which it does a decent job at.

I also used Brillanize back in the day when DF belts were a thing to move paper across the exposure glass. That stuff worked great.

Which optics cleaning cloth do you use?
                AND
How to make a platen glass more slippery?

Same here ... I just call it washer solvent. The formula that I've come up with is:
                  2 gal -10F washer solvent
                  3 qts vinegar scented Windex
                  1 qt Cleaning Vinegar

Here in Michigan, it's important that your glass cleaner isn't frozen solid when you show up to your first call. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes, I'm in New York. I add a little isopropyl alcohol to my window cleaner during the winter.

In the absence of the Photex cleaning cloth, i used a microfiber cloth for test.
After this rather wet cleaning i used the Chicopee towel to rub dry (and take away ozone remainder)
I'm very satisfied of this result.
Never before I had a mirror so clean; the reflected light is really powerful!

Re: optics cleaning cloth + platen glass slippery product

To ameliorate the sliding of the original on the platen glass I have put some oil on it and spread it with a cloth ...
works fine, but I hope the oil-smell will disappear soon.
I have putted to much vinegar in my selfmade glass cleaner, so taking away the sliding characteristic...

Brillianize and a lint free paper towel or microfiber - use it for all sorts of things.
                          Good stuff
