    MP C307 SC121

    Hello together
Have the problem with this SC code. The error always comes when starting the device. Scanner does not initialize and the lamp does not turn on. Motor / scanner completely and the sensor changed....no success. Any idea where the problem is before I change the BICU and Contoller? (I know the problem with the clamp of the scanner)?
    Thanks

check the movement of the trolley which has no friction, as per the service manual, all that remains is to replace the ipu or bcu

Check the scanner motor cushion (mount).

At this point, I would look at the BICU, as it controls all the workings in the machine. The controller is mainly and interface between the device and the outside world - almost like a computer. That is why in a lot of cases it has its own hard disk drive.

Before replacing any parts its always worth updating the firmware, try the latest package.

Yup, firmware upgrade, and check the BICU if the update does not resolve.

He already fixed it almost 2 years ago, read the entire thread.

I was reading topic because I had the same issue, but in my case it was the lamp trolley who was stuck and I had a bad white reference reading when stating the copier.
