Hi. I got one machine having SC670-03. Based on manual, I swap PSU, BCU, IPU, 2 IOB, and flat cable from good working machine. But the code still there. I even try swap controller, but it still giving SC670-03.
I do not find SC670-03 listed in my copy of the Service Manual, only SC670-00, Communication Error at start up. Usually caused by the USB cable to the display. Enough of a problem that Ricoh-USA put out a bulletin on it.

Got bulletin for it. Older firmware indicates SC670 but newer one will have specific SC code either SC665 or SC664.
Got 5V when check those pins. Can't update as it will straight SC670-03 when boot up. Try insert SD Card for update, it does nothing.
Try powering up with a jam door open. That prevents the engine from starting which if the SC is engine related prevents the SC and allows you to get into SP mode and might also allow SD card firmware update /reload.

ok, let's start with the cheapest solutions, after what slim slob suggested, I would try to replace the nv-ram, if you buy them on e-bay, or ali-express, you can find them for a few euros, and I discovered that they break much more easily than you think, you can also take them from another machine if you have one.

If I open duplex and front cover, it will stay at blue screen and SC670-03. But if I unplug duplex cable, I able to update the firmware using SD Card. I suspect duplex unit was the problem and try to swap it with another machine. Still 670-03 when swap and reconnect duplex.

Hello, good day.
Can you please give me the AliExpress or eBay link to get the NVRAM?
Thank you very much.
I usually buy a new one, even in ricoh, and then I create a .bin file with which I can rewrite the ones recovered or used on other machines of same model, using a Chinese eprom programmer Xgecu pro T48 and its free software
but pay attention first to buy, first remove the white little sticker on original nv-ram, and check the exact version of component, could be that change the memory capacity from a model machine and one other
