    Ricoh Aficio 2075 - PCQ

This should be easy for you ricoh guys. Can't find copy quality adjustment on aficio 2075. The one on display & in user mode don't seem to do anything. It's light especially on solid blacks. Help.

sir have you check the consumables? perhaps you need to replace it! opc, developer, charge corona, transfer check those stuff may problem comes there.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Has it done over 300K on it's developer? It it has then replace:-

      B064 9640 Developer
      AA01 2060 Dev Filter

That could be the most likely source of your problem

Also if it's fitted with an A295 9510 drum then that only has a life of 350K, The newer drum also used in the Bellini C2 B070 9510 has a life of 700k.

      Also:-

      Charge Corona Wire:- B070 2364
      Grid:- A096 2060
      Pads:- A096 2063

It used to be that no contrast adjustment was due to no / poor bias connection. Check the continuity betweeen the front of the mag rollers and the bias connection to the power pack. If thats ok, check the bias at the front of the mag roller and also the continuty between the dev casing and frame.

There used to be a fault where the dev casing shorted to the frame and dropped the bias (the dev frame is charged to prevent dev scatter), there should be some insulation at the front of the frame. Try sliding a couple of sheets of paper between the bottom of the dev unit and the frame as a temp insulator. If this works insulate the frame with tape.

                  Face Down

                  Hi,

If you copy it from the glass then you can have a face up copy.

                  Regards,

                    .... Pardon?

If you mean that the copy exits face down when copying from the glass, this can be switched in user tools.
