[Jamming] AR M350 paper jamming as it comes out of DU4 exit tray

    Hello,

I have a Sharp AR M350 which is intermittently jamming as paper comes out of DU4 Exit Tray. It appears that the upper motor slows down after about 1/2 of the sheet has exited out of unit. Any Advise is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    J.

It is fairly common for the top delivery sensor to hang up (entrance sensor). You might have to pull the thing apart and clean the ends of the sensor arm where they sit in the holder. You should be able to push it and watch for a weak return or hangup.

If you're getting POD1N jams, it could be the one way bearings in the delivery/turnover unit. Your best be is to replace this unit as an assembly.
I've also seen these same jams then the switch flags in the delivery/turnover are excessively lubricated with heavy grease. For a while they arrived that way new. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
