    DC 250 Fuser problem - 077-909

    Hello Copytechnet-users

I have problem with this error 077-909, it should be jammed paper in fuser but there is no paper. Actually what happend is that machine has pulled 2-3 papers at the same time and of course it stuck in the fuser. After i pulled the paper out it always says that paper is still jammed. I have tried with other fuser and everything is ok. So do you guys have any idea what can i do to save my new fuser
    Thanks.

One of the IOT sensors detected paper when power was turned on or when an interlock was closed. check the fuser exit actuator

I am having the same exact problem, except I dont have a 2nd fuser to help resolve the problem.

what is "fuser exit actuator" and how exactly do I resolve this issue?

what sometimes happens is that the sensor flag/arm call it what you will, twists out of its holder and jams, hence the machine thinks that there is still paper. the flag/arm should pivot freely

Awesome! Thank you SO much! Saved the day Might want to mention that the fuser casing needs to be opened up to access the piece that is dislodged... Common sense to some, but others are very literal

Thank you for the diagram. I used a Q-tip to move the actuator arm back and forth to confirm it was free. The problem was solved.

I am getting the same fault code (077-909), however, it is on the Bypass Tray 5. Anyone know a fix for Tray 5? I check all the sensor locations and everything is clear.
