Hello all. I have a Lexmark X464de that is getting stuck at boot screen. It loads about one quarter on the loading bar and gets stuck there. The customer usually switched off the machine by removing the power cord from the wall outlet, so i suspect a software problem. The pc doesn;t see the machine on usb or lan. i was thinking of forced firmware on the machine, but i don't know the procedure. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would suspect that the HDD crashed. Start by disconnecting the HDD. If it boots, you know that the HDD is toast. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The HDD is an option, so it probably never had one. Yes, control board ... if you can get it. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
