Hi everyone, let me start by saying that we usually make Ricoh, but we also inherited some Kyocera, which I don't know fully, I have all the technical manuals of many Kyocera, I have access to the official Kyocera portal, but I had this problem.
this m6026cdn needed the tk590 kit, but since it wasn't nearby, and I had many calls, we sent another company, and we supplied them with the kit, the problem was "toner fall around"
their technician changed the kit, and now the machine, prints all the colors out of register, or color shift, as Kyocera says.
I took it to the laboratory and checked a few things, I put the old kit back, and the problem remains the same.
I found a bulletin (see attachment), and I followed the instructions, I updated the firmware, I did the calibration, and the color registration, but the problem is the same
the colors are all shifted a lot
I also tried removing the mobile protection of the ID sensors, because I suspected it wouldn't open, but nothing.
Maybe I missed something on the bulletin?...I seem to understand, but I'm not sure, that there is a manual adjustment, but I can't understand it!
Does anyone have any idea what the solution is?

Search on here, there are many threads on the subject. Generally you need to find which color could be causing the fault. Is the desnity good for each one individually ? There is firmware to reset the registration back to default, as the manual sometimes cannot get it back.

If I remember correctly, there is a firmware specifically written to correct the color registration issues. It does not install like normal firmware. There is a special procedure to install. I've only done it a couple times, and I don't remember the details. Maybe KYO_OEM has it.

Note: Get yourself an ultraviolet flashlight for use, when doing color registration on all Kyoceras. It makes the yellow alignment marks visible as gray. This is the one I use:

hi, and thank you, I found the bulletin here on the forum, I updated the firmware to the version that should solve the problem, the colors have shifted by a lot, almost a centimeter

hi, the strange thing is how could this happen just by replacing the consumables?...could there be some bulletin on the kyocera portal? here the registration is off by almost 1 cm

I tried to check, but I can't understand the alignment procedure, the colors are shifted by about 5mm (see attachment)

look the yellow, seem very out of much, I'm starting to think there's a bigger problem than the registration

i tried before sharing and just now after download from this side.
Download/ open download folder/ rename from the file with .zip extention/ double click to open and it works.

thanks, but this is what I already have, the yellow and cyan colors, they are lower by almost a centimeter, I tried as suggested here in another thread to replace the HVU2 board, but it didn't solve the problem, now I'm trying to replace the complete laser box unit of yellow and magenta.
