Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
It's getting bad for Biden when Obama's number 1 guy says this about Biden.
David Axelrod: "You Can Not Defend" What's Happening In Afghanistan, "This Has Been A Disaster"
Former Obama administration chief of staff David Axelrod said President Biden should take responsibility for the situation in Afghanistan Monday afternoon on CNN.
"It is heartbreaking, it is depressing, and it is a failure," he said.
Can some of you stop pretending this is anything other than a massive fuck up that killed 13 Marines. I'm willing to roll the dice on Kamala at this point.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
President Kamala Harris?
Even Biden's own White House staff 'appalled and literally horrified' over his handling of Afghanistan
A White House official said they were "appalled and literally horrified" that President Biden left Americans stranded in Afghanistan, a new report reveals.
An administration official told Politico that they were stunned by the president’s decision to leave Americans behind as the Taliban solidifies their power in the country and reportedly engages in door-to-door executions.
I am absolutely appalled and literally horrified we left Americans there," the official said. "It was a hostage rescue of thousands of Americans in the guise of a NEO [noncombatant evacuation operations], and we have failed that no-fail mission."

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
....Texas seems to be getting worse by the day.
Texans can now openly carry guns in public without a permit or training.
....Yesterday all abortions six weeks or older were made liable to lawsuits from anyone in the USA.
...The most restrictive anti voting rights legislation in the USA is about to be signed into law.
... all serious assaults on public safety, human rights and voting rights while teetering on natural disasters.
Overall bad for businesses with strong employee rights cultures and those considering re-locating to Texas.Comment
