You have free speech because someone gave it to you out of thin air.

ACCESS TO SAFE ABORTION IS A MATTER OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Access to safe abortion services is a human right. Under international human rights law, everyone has a right to life, a right to health, and a right to be free from violence, discrimination, and torture or cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment.

Human rights law clearly spells out that decisions about your body are yours alone – this is what is known as bodily autonomy.
Forcing someone to carry on an unwanted pregnancy, or forcing them to seek out an unsafe abortion, is a violation of their human rights, including the rights to privacy and bodily autonomy.

In many circumstances, those who have no choice but to resort to unsafe abortions also risk prosecution and punishment, including imprisonment, and can face cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and discrimination in, and exclusion from, vital post-abortion health care.

Access to abortion is therefore fundamentally linked to protecting and upholding the human rights of women, girls and others who can become pregnant, and thus for achieving social and gender justice.

Amnesty International believes that everyone should be free to exercise their bodily autonomy and make their own decisions about their reproductive lives including when and if they have children. It is essential that laws relating to abortion respect, protect and fulfil the human rights of pregnant persons and not force them to seek out unsafe abortions.

Read Amnesty International’s Policy on Abortion

Let me clear this up. Abortion in the USA will not be decided by an international court. It will be decided by the Supreme Court. ]

Like I said, the only country in the world with no restrictions on abortion is Canada. That means, in theory, a woman can abort at 9-months and it's legal. That's not so in the USA and while I don't see abortion being totally outlawed (I agree with slim), I do see it being heavily restricted in many states.

... for a country where it's citizens like to talk about the lack of restrictions on personal freedoms some citizens are all on on restricting the freedoms of half of its population.

How is restricting freedoms on guns rights or voting rights any different than restricting freedoms on abortion rights?

Great point. You want to take away our guns and that's a constitutional right but yet you scream bloody murder when restrictions are placed on abortion. Abortion isn't a constitutional right. Do you see your hypocrisy?

But I don't have a problem with guns being restricted. You see, I'm not a nut who thinks folks should be able to walk around with a machine gun or bazooka. Likewise, I also understand that life begins before the baby comes out of the womb and we need to protect that life. Seems like common sense to me.

Let me explain this to you. Roe v. Wade was established in 1973. Since then, technology has changed and thus laws can be changed based on the "science".

You make it sound like a constitution is some magical document. Lol It was also created out of thin air, it wasn't handed to anyone straight from the hand of God. Men wrote it. A constiturion is a piece of paper.
