Don't take this the wrong way, but I've tried to be civil with everyone in this forum as of late...which is why I gave an earnest effort to have an honest debate with you about abortion. For whatever reason, you and I simply can't play nice, therefore I will let you debate others and no longer engage with you. Good luck.

If you are trying to be civil, why do you continually accuse me of not answering questions when it's extremely obvious that I have?
I'm simply trying to debate and you want to grandstand. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but when one person answers and the other doesn't, it is not a debate.

If I ask you a question it's because I don't know your stance. Believe it or not, but I don't hang on your every word. In between our conversations, I'm constantly studying something about copiers or networking or I'm actually working on something. There's no need for you to accuse of me of lying about it. Just answer the question even though you may have answered in the past. It doesn't cost you anything.

          Okay, now we're getting somewhere.
Which question was it that you wanted answered again? Please re-ask instead of accusing someone of dodging.

You are the one that should be concerned about what anyone else who is following the political threads might think of your lack of truthfulness.

Because you continue to refuse to give a honest and truthful answer to the original question Billy asked you.

He wanted to know how you personally feel about abortion. You keep talking about Canadian law, not your personal feelings, almost as though you have something to hide.

Oh Slim, I have not quoted Canadian law ever, as far as I can remember. I will correct this if I'm wrong.
Also, as you can see above I have been very upfront about my personal feelings about abortion.

                        Here's what I asked:

In 1973, Roe v. Wade made abortion legal up to viability. In other words, abortion is illegal after viability in most states and indeed many countries around the world.

Do you consider that "restrictive" and do you generally agree with laws that protect the unborn child after viability when there is no danger to the mother?

I'm pretty sure I have answered this, but I will do it again.
I don't think there should be any restrictions. Women are fully capable of making decisions that concern themselves.

I really want to be clear here. Just because I am pro choice doesn't mean I'm pro abortion. I just believe it's not my place as a man to infringe on a woman's right to control her own body. That's all.

Just to be clear, Roe v. Wade doesn't go far enough for you, you think a woman should be able to get an abortion at any time during the pregnancy even if there's no danger to her life.

That's all I wanted to know I will continue to fight to the life of the unborn so long as the pregnancy doesn't pose a risk to the life of the mother.

Here's where I have changed my mind:

I support exceptions in the case of rape and incest or if the mother's life is in danger. It was tough for me to get there but that's where I'm at.

But if the woman wants to get an abortion after viability and her health is not at risk, she go kick rocks.
